How do I submit samples for Mycoplasma Detection?

Aseptically transfer 5-10ml of cell culture supernatant into a sterile centrifuge tube.
Seal the tube with Parafilm and label the tube with the sample ID using stickers or with permanent marker (cover the label with clear tape to ensure that the label is not erased should it come into contact with solvents).
If more than one sample is to be submitted, place each sample in separate bags to preserve the integrity of each sample should the other samples leak.
Fill out the Test Sample Submission Form (TSSF). Indicate the individual Sample ID’s under Test Sample Name. The Sample ID’s indicated on the TSSF will be reflected in the Test Report.
Send the samples in ice boxes with ice packs to ensure that the samples are kept cold. Submit the TSSF along with the samples. Samples must arrive at Charles River Singapore by Thursday morning for the samples to be included in the scheduled weekly testing.
